Default Thanks to DFE Enterprises (DONF) for fixing a Head of mine

I had a customer who dropped a valve on his ported GSR head. It broke the vavles in half and it kinda grenaded in side the motor chewing up his $1000 ported head. well, i contacted Don, and he said he could fix it.

Just another alternative out there to fix your blown up B series heads, if you think its worth it. It cost $350 to have it completely rewelded. thats much cheaper than buying another stock head, ($500) and porting it ($1000).

if you don't mind me asking, were there other damage to the other combustion chambers?
like nics? I'm wondering because my ITR head is in a bit better condition then that but there are nics in the other chambers. so i was wondering if it would be around the same

Only one chamber got damaged? Is it me or the chambers are different in the pix? The water jackets to the right of the chamber are different, the damaged one appears to be a Gs-R water jacket and the repaired chamber appears to be a b16? Could be the opposite side of the head?

Appears to be the opposite side of the head. First pic shows intake valves on the top and the 2nd pic shows them on the bottom. Maybe that's why it looks so good, it's not even the same chamber.

What's going on here VtecKiDD?

The boy does not know how to take pictures, that cyl. probably looked worse because ther ewere some little dings to be cleaned up. Or on the good side they could not tell the repaired cylinder.

LOL, long day at work. i took a pic of the wrong cylinder.

On the good side, they all look like that one, so you really cant tell any damage happened.

My bad, ill post the correct one tomrrow. In pic 1, the damaged cylinder is #4. i took a pic of Cylinder #1.

Welding, 2 seats, surfacing is $350.00 guides, reaming the guides to size, matching the seats to the ports, and assy.- dissassembly is extra.
