Default NGK 8 series plugs?

I had a mis firing issue the other day.....when I boosted in third to redline it sounded like it was bouncing off the rev limiter. It was also really hot, don't know if that made a difference, but it didnt do it today (it was about 30deg. cooler)

anyway, how long should these plugs last? My car was tuned to 12.0 to 1 and has 11.0 compression. I have been running these plugs since september, and I just checked em today and they look a little worn down.
Does this cold of a plug usually go faster?

and my other question....where can I get em? because all the autoparts stores around here have never even heard of NGK V power -8-. (thats all it says on the plug)

my tuner (Jeff Evans) told me they last around 2500 miles, i change mine every 3000 with my oil changes.

go to any place that sells NGK plugs and ask for part number 4554

they should run a little over a $1.50 a piece i think

I changed mine with every oil change or sooner too. Just part of the game man. lol.
Plugs just get beat up with turbo cars most of the time

yep, gotta pay to play lol, my dad and i found out if you take the plugs and sand blast them after 3000 miles, you can reuse them, just have to put a little anti-seize on them since the blasting takes off the coating

regular copper plugs,i think the iridiums might last longer, but i've never seen them in an 8 heat series, they're probably expensive

the iridium plugs are pre-gapped that i know of, but i'm not sure if they can be re=gapped, the iridium electrode is so small i'd prob smash it.

would this hurt the performance of the plug if it wasn't pre-gapped close to .30''?
