building a head,ITR or something more worth it?need opinions

i know this is going to be a basic question,but im putting together a new head for my teg,a gsr head.im not sure if i should just use all ITR components,(including cams),or go out into something more than stock such as skunk2, omni-power.basically my plan is that i want to make something reliable (as it will be my daily-driver), yet a little faster than stock but not extreme.the head will be mated up to a type r block with JDM P73 pistons. i guess what i am mainly wanting to know is some opinions if the used ITR valvetrain would be fine such as descent power gains over the GSR ones,or should i just use better stuff while i am in there.also,i already have all the ITR valvetrain in my possession,its out of a JDM 96 if that helps.I just want a fresh engine since mine is always givin me problems.
