Default stage 2 cam on h series help.

I just got some Stage II OBX cams with Rocket Motor sports' springs and retainers.
Put them in my H23 DOHC VTEC JDM (Blue top originally DOHC VTEC not frankenstein)
I am running a chipped p28 (slightly modified stock maps, revs to 8k) intake, and exhaust. All in an EK sedan.

Everything was installed to spec, timing is fine, valvelash, but my car feels slower than before. Does it take a few days to open up fully or what? I mean, I have heard of people making gains without tuning of at least 10WHP and I feel the car is just slightly slower. The car is in Pakistan, so no widebands or dynos here..but I have a SAFC. Any suggestions here? Is there anything I should be checking here? Do I not have enough compression to reap the benefits?

buy a wideband and tune the car on the street. Most likely that P28 fuel map is out of wack.
