just installed!

after installing the front lower tie bar and the rear strut bar i noticed more steering response at higher speeds (say 80km over, like when changing lanes)
while at harder cornering car feels more complete, more as a whole than compared to before. What i mean is that before the bars were installed, the front of the car always seemed to go around corners like it wanted to keep on turning, while the rear felt like it wouldn't budge, like it wouldn't want to swing out.
now the car feels like it's once piece where the rear now shows the same behaviour as the front, like it also wants to go around the corner and not goin just straight forward, in short more ridgit?
im not sure if i make sense but i hope u guys get the idea.
Although the car feels more ridigt as a whole
it also feels like it is also not hugging the road (as if it's lifting off the road) as it use to, however it is just a feeling, in reality it is the same as before, probably just me
'shrug', either that or cause the cars more ridgit (considering we have really **** roads in melbourne, full of bumps and holes everywhere).and why didn't i decide to get a more ridgit rear strut by design? ie mugen and carbing?
because for the price of one of those i got a rear strut and lower tie bar
over all a good mod but still getting use to it
Rear strut tower bars have very little effect on the handling of our cars, much less of an effect than an anti-sway bar. I would have expected you would experience a net increase in understeer with these two bars. Do you have any clearance issues with the front bar, it looks awful low. Looks nice, though.

Same here it probably would be an awesome purchase but the roads are crap down here also. How much did you end up paying for the lower tie bar anyways?

It's referred to as understeer.
And ridgit = rigid.

yeah sorry bout the spelling mistake...
yeah it is very low, but at the moment seems fine, this is because it is aligned with the wheel, so speed bumps no worries! however if there is stuff on the road that's another story. However so my mugen twin loop's resonator still hangs lower than that...
although it is a strut bar and not a sway bar, there is a minor but noticble difference, they are to only improve chassis rigidity, but once again nothing like a roll cage!
thought i just like to share!
thx for the input

oh yeah
$110 lower tie bar
$220 strut ( 40mm version, the os type was cheaper, and the carbon more expensive)
thx to henryat RMS here in melbourne

if i was really buying for the bline bline factor i would of bought mugen and carbing etc...
but everyone has their own opinion

yeah...did u really notice a big difference?
maybe i just don't push the car hard enough to notice that much
still learning to drive
anyhow in regards to the lower tie bar... i am worried but i'll just have to keep my fingers cross, considering it basically is just a few mm front the transmission and extractors, i dun think it'll make much of a difference, if im going to hitting something i am going to hit something
