I replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. And as soon as I started it up it turned over several times before starting and the check engine light came on. It doesn't do it all the time, but if it doesn't come on when I start the car it will run for awhile and then stall. as soon as i start it back up the light comes on????? I checked to make sure all the wires were in the correct place and they are. I was told that it is probably the distributor. Any other suggestions?? How can I get the check engine code?? Please Help!!

There is a two pin connector under your passenger side dash. Jump it and read the CEL flashes. long flash - 10, short flash - 1.
