yeah hes right its not much
spare tire and jack weigh the most like 10lbs then the plastic trims over the windows weigh like 1 lb a piece, the storage compartment is prolly 5 lbs and the sides are prolly 5 lbs

so really like 20-25lbs

if its a track car then sure go for it but if its a street car i wouldnt worry about it unless it was like mines ugly blue and broken

I doubt it even weighs more than 10lbs plus when you gut every thing out you hear 100 times more road noise. It gets annoying after awhile.

Its not to bad i rather take all the a/c and heating stuff out the dash. Talk about alot of weight and if you decide to gut the front instead of the rear take the sound deadening stuff off the passenger side and not yours that way the passenger gets swap a$s and the driver doesnt. TRy it out and see how you like it

ok seriously, side panels at a pound each? Have you ever even taken them out?
anyway, heaviest items in the rear will be the spare (15-20lbs?), wiper motor, & storage compartment. The other stuff is all going to be a bit lighter but everything does add up. If I remember correctly, my car came out to be like 45 lbs. or so. there's more weight in the front
