has anyone tryed ams electronic boost contorller from nxt level racing?
it sound good but will it work on 700 hp+ cars and controll the boost high and low with no problem.

We got one in for the New Products section in the magazine, and I have to say that it's a very trick piece of hardware. It uses two separate solenoid valves (and they're industrial type valves, not the regular automotive vacuum solenoids) to positively control the wastegate. In other words, instead of just bleeding off pressure or blocking the boost signal from the manifold to keep the WG closed, it just uses manifold pressure as a power source to activate the wastegate, and keeps total control of the pressure the diaphragm actually "sees".

Based on the user's manual, though, the learning curve is pretty damn steep to get it set up.
