i filled up my gas tank one night and kinda over filled it a little bit. i drove it home and there was no check engine light but next day i started it the check engine light came on. read the owners manual and yes my gas cap was tight. have any of you had this problem, if you have id like your input please. car has 67k on it and never had any kinda problem till now.

 

What year accord is this? And have you tried to read the CEL <counting the flashes>?

 

its a 2001. the CEL comes and flashes once when the ingnition is turned to on and it stays on after cranking/starting.

 

Should be able to go to autozone or something and let them read the code. Then after they read it you should post it on here.
