Cams and rockers scraped?
Got a B16A and put in some stage 1 cams and they scraped all the vtec rockers and lobs on the cam. We think that it is the springs that bottoms out and the cam wanted to go further, or could it possibly be the lost motion assembly couldn't do any further?Does anyone know what it might be and does anyone know what the seating presure og the stock spring are?I got some used arms and have the old cams still but want to find out what the problem is before I put it back together. Please sone one get back to me soon.

Well your all going to go against me on this but I went cheap and used OBX R. There made from forged billet cromolly. And yes I used assembly libe and yes I set the lash after. Probably could have broke them in better though.
The obx cams are garbage, the material they are made out of is incompatible with honda rockers and causs the damage you are describing. It sucks you had to learn this way, but you get what you pay for.

A little research goes a long way, and you get what you pay for.
