Yep, the ECU is still available. Fuel and timing maps are designed for a JDM 98 Spec B18C-R w/ bolt-ons. VTEC crossover is at 5800 and rev limit is 9000. Shipping to your side of the country should be no problem. Let me know what you're thinking.

You shouldn't have that problem with this ECU. Runs clean with the normal Honda idle. The UPS shipping calculator estimated cost at $15.

I don't have any pics of the ECU, but I can take some. What's your e-mail address? I don't believe that the ECU is set up to be tuneable like that, but I could be wrong. I recommend checking with Katman/FF-Squad to see if that can be done.

Here's the info from the website:
[ OBD-1 DOHC VTEC Civic & Integra ECU Programs ]
Program Name:
OBD-1.MGN
Program Features:
This is a variant of the infamous OBD-1 Mugen program and is designed for a single-butterfly intake manifold system.
This program is compatible and will work on these OBD-1 JDM & US VTEC ecu's:
PR3 (JDM 92-93 dohc VTEC)
P07 (chipper friendly version -> see P07 page)
P08 (JDM SOHC VTEC)
P28 (US SOHC VTEC)
P30 (both JDM & US versions)
P54 (JDM SOHC VTEC)
P61 (US DOHC VTEC)
P70 (JDM SOHC VTEC)
P72 (both JDM & US versions)
P91 (JDM SOHC VTEC)
This program will convert any of the ecu's listed above in Auto form to 5-speed spec, except a JDM P72 ecu.
Disabled Features Include:
Disabled knock sensor
Disable speed limiter
Please specify engine liter size when ordering any stage of programming offered below.
Program Stages (choose 1 stage when ordering):
Stage 1 : Close- to-Stock
Stage 1 offers programming that is barely enhanced before and while in VTEC. Perfect for the engine hybrider who's looking for stock fuel & timing maps and to disable their knock sensor.
Stage 2 : Semi-race
Stage 2 programming offers stock fuel + timing maps before VTEC crossover so that fuel consumption is hardly affected, but, once in VTEC the Mugen-variant fuel + timing race maps take over and run the show (uses identical maps from stage 3). Excellent program for the finnicky racer who wants the best of both worlds. Works great for NOS, Turbo, and N/A engine setups.
Stage 3 : Full Race (Anti-Tree Huggin' Environment Killa)
Stage 3 offers the full blown Mugen variant program in its unadulterated form. Dumps more fuel than stage 1 & 2 before VTEC. There might be a noticeable loss in gas mileage. Timing is moderately enhanced but not wild. A VTEC/Fuel controller is highly recommended to fine tune this program on the dyno. The program has shown promising gains of up to 5-7whp once dyno tuned with the aid of a VTEC/Fuel controller. Untuned, gains of about 5whp can be made. Throttle response is noticeably enhanced as well. Works great for NOS, Turbo & N/A engine setups.
VTEC Crossover Point (choose one):
4800, 5300, 5500, 5700, 6000, 6200 RPM
Redline RPM cutoff (choose one):
8500, 8800, 9000, 9200, 9500, 10,000+ RPM
Additional Notes:
Are you a JDM or US B18C/C1 engine owner and would like to know if this program will work with your engine? YES! it will - BUT- the secondary butterfly controls (IAB) will be disabled, meaning you could lose about 10ft lbs. of torque! Don't fret! Setting VTEC to about 5300rpm is a temporary solution (until you decide to upgrade to a Skunk2 intake manifold).
Dyno Result:
Gains of up to 5-10whp have been shown with the Stage 3 program, once dyno tuned along with the aide of a VAFC VTEC/Fuel controller and 270cc injectors on B-series engines.
