Default Ghetto Cruise Project

Hey, I'm allmost completely done my ghetto accord EXi cruise in DX cvivic project.

- All wirign is done
- Indicator lights installed
- Switches installed
- Actuator mounted and recieving vaccum

The actuator is mountecd under the center console inside the car as there is no place under the hood for it.

I need ideas on how to actually connect the actuator to the throttle.

Here is the PROBLEM: The cable ratio between the gas pedal and the cruise is ~1.33 to 1. I.E. at full throttle, the gas pedal pulls in 3 cm of cable, but at full vacuum the cruise can pull 4.2cm. I verified this ratio on a spare integra pedal assembly I have and it worked out to 4.18 to 3.

Therefore, I assume I can't directly connect the actuator to the throttle cable since the cruise needs to move in 1.33 times more than the throttle cable.

SOOO....I need some ideas on how to compensate for this...or if I actually need to.

I've thought of connecting the actuator higher up on the gas pedal to achieve a 1.33:1 ratio, but there isn't enough space under the dash.

My current solution is to find a pulley wiht a radius of 5.3 centimeters and tying it to the throttle plate somehow, the increased radius would give the 1.33:1 ratio since the current throttle pulley has a radius of 3.81 centimeters.

Ughhh....someone must have ghetto installed a cruise...what's the solution?
