Default running no filter

hey i was wondering how bad is it to run no filter on the turbo? i just put a bigger radiator in and i cant fit a filter anymore. i put a screen with a clamp over the turbo but im worried about dust and water. i know people run them with no filter all the time but jsut wondering what problems and occur. thanks.

I was wondering the same thing. It would make sense to use a filter at all times. I mean could you imagine a rock slapping up into the intake fins.... ghey

I been running a screen for 1 1/2 years on my turbo and it looks like ****. fins look like saw blades and its so black inside its not funny.
Lucky I plan to swap turbos soon, Ill never do this again to another turbo.

can't fit a pipe in there... sort of like an intake concept for your turbo?

Can you take a picture of the area you have to work with? Here is the filter we used. We thought we had no room for a filter. B16a, DA Integra chassis, Full Race exhaust manifold and a T4 GT3767S turbocharger. K&N had a solution for us.
