2150 pounds sounds about right. Remember that your year was stuck with passive restraint seatbelts and all the additional bracing that goes along with them. But the 1992 CX wasn't. Also remember that only ED/EF models without passive restraint seatbelts are actually truly light. For instance, my 1988 DX 4DR is quite a bit lighter than your 1990 STD.

that 2150 doesnt sound right at all.
my title says my 91 std weighs 1863lbs dry. add 7lbs/gal of gas, 8lbs/gal coolant, and 1.5lbs/qt of oil.

1863lbs dry weight
80lbs gas
16lbs cooloant
6.5lbs oil
-----------------
1965.5 lbs

maybe my title is wrong

It has to be wrong. My factory Honda shop manual lists the weight of a 1988 STD HB at 1989 pounds. I am not sure if this is wet or dry. But even if it is wet, this would still suggest that the 1988 STD is the heavier car. And we all know this is not true. Furthermore, the weight of a 1990 CRX DX is 2105 pounds. And the 1990 STD has to be heavier than this as well. A good way to look at it is that the 1988 CRX DX weighs 1922 pounds - about 67 pounds lighter than the 1988 STD HB. Considering that the weight difference between the 1990 CRX DX and STD HB is probably about the same, 2150 pounds sounds very reasonable to me.
