Where is all the talk and video's from the BIG HC Infineon race?

Am I the only one that thinks the board has been kinda slow this week with stuff about the event? I know there have been lots of pics posted, but very few vids have surfaced. I know there is a ton of vids out there floating around and I cant wait to see the vid Brain is making, but where are the rest of them. Is everyone just really busy this week? Lots of stuff to take care of after the weekend, I know! I just kinda expected to see more talk of the weekend!

I for one had a BLAST and can't wait for the next one. It was great meeting all the people that we don't normally see at a cali race!

Are any of you working on "press releases"? I really want to read them, so hurry up!

Thanks again to all who attended and made the event what it was!

How many of you socal people would be up for chipping in on the projector idea? That was really fun!!!

I really wish I had more to report. I came, I crashed, I spectated. I will say though that Infineon's track and spectator facilities just completely blew me away. I had never seen such a nice setup for watching road racing.

I'll try to get Jon to post his in-car video. I think he had video from both races and a few good battles with Thawley caught on tape. I wish I could have been out there with you guys. It looked like a ton of fun and I think the car was really working well for those first/only couple laps.

Didn't Thawley have a camera in his car? I thought I saw one. What about Hohwart, Sam or any of the SoCal guys? I think we saw some of Sam's video at the track when Mike caught his wheel.

I p[osted mines it was 3 laps long but lots of action. 2 videos front and back both posted.

Well, my video camera crapped out that weekend.

I sent it in to get repaired. Cost 2/3 of what a new one would be with the charge up front.

 

BrianZ has all of my footage, including the wreck. I'm waiting to see it edited and included in a HC montage.

 

We only have Sunday race footage due to the camera being set on pause in lieu of record for Saturday. Too bad because it would have edited nicely with Edik's portion. JohnG is converting the Sunday race from analog to digital and then you can all watch me pitch it into the dirt when the track lost grip...twice.

I was out at Bermerton Raceway all weekend and haven't touched your tape yet. I'll get to it this week.

FWIW, missing a front left wheel spacer, and not knowing it, makes you chase alignment settings and search for bent stuff all day

 

How was the track itself?

From driving it on Gran Turismo, I could name several off camber turns that I'd get easily owned at.
