b16a1 swapped in ctr cams with gears...no a problem

Default b16a1 swapped in ctr cams with gears...now a problem!!!

just put in ctr cams and skunk 2 cam gears....drove around the block now, i have a 23 code(knock sensor) i dnt know why...could it be the timing of the cam gears. i have the intake +2 and exhaust -2 plz help...thanks

i just checked it with my multi meter...ran contanuity test...i tink i have to lash valves

Set the cams to stock, 0 0.
Set the distributor to stock. I can't remember if it is 16 BTDC, but you should have mark on the top distributor with the correct setting.

I would not mess with the timing unless you have AF meter and a dyno. The knock sensor is on because it can't retard the ignition timing enough.

How does the car feel with the CTR cams in, thinking about doing it myself also
