ok i have a 94 jdm h22a. i was wondering what rod, main, thrust bearings, should i use to rebuild. i know that the 97-01 usdm h22s had larger crank journals, compared to the usdm 93-96 h22a1 motor. but my motor is jdm and unlike the open deck design and lower compression of the 93-96. my 94 jdm boasts similiar things to the 2000+ h22a4 like closed deck and higher compression. so i am really stumped on what bearings to use as i would think they would be different. has anyone rebuilt a 94 jdm h22a? please help. thanx

 

the a4 never had closed deck though
teh 92-96 jdm h22a is teh EXACT smae engine as teh h22a1 with a LITTLE bit more dome on the pistons....

 

Im fully building a 94 JDM closed deck h22a going from 10.5:1 to 9:1 for turbo
the bearing sizes are the same as a USDM h22a1

50mm crank, and I 4got the rod sizes
