Default first prelude

hey im about to go purchase a prelude....i was looking at the 4th generation ludes...i wanted to know which model and what year to get to build on my n/a project??

A 94 is good.

Actually, you can buy mine for the right price of course. JDM h22a swap, good compression ~80k on it.

If you're doing N/a - i say get a 93-95 with an h22a1 or equivalent in it.

are you in cali???if not sorry...but a 94??? what model?? i hope you are gonna say vtec...how does the jdm h22a compare to the usdm h22a1?? how much of a difference does it make??? and can the jdm h22a pass smog in california??

JDM has more torque and Hp because of higher compression. My car won't pass smog - maybe if you mess around with the s300......but oh well.

to the crank, theres about a +10 difference on both torque and hp (rough estimation)... to the wheels, theres about a +5 difference (rough estimation). If you're going to go NA, and simple mods, yea there'll be a difference. If you're going to build it... just go with the usdm one thats in there
