I'm in the market for a used S2000. I went to the dealer today and test drove one that I might take home monday. Its white, which is rare, red interior, the car is clean. It's a 2002 with 34K miles. They want $24,900. I'm thinking that's kinda steep so thats why I'm asking you S2K owners.

BTW, the car drives like a dream compared to my old EG hatch. Its responsive, brakes good, and handles excellent for being stock.

 

I think that is a liitle strong. I just picked up a 2002 S2000 with 5200 miles for $22125.00. The car is perfect inside and out. Edmunds.com and KBB.com are good websites to used car values on. Just my two cents worth.

I plan on picking up an 04-05 S2K during the winter months, when they are dead cheap.

An 04 with less than 15k miles can be had for less than 26k these days.

 

Picked up my black 02 with about 27k on miles for $19,500. It had small scratch on door. But I'm LOVING IT :D

 

Damn thats pretty cheap. He said the KBB for the car was $24.9. I think hes bullshitting. The car is so clean and pretty it like sucks you into buying it.

 

2 years ago i got mine 2000 s2000 with 57k miles for 17.8k with new tires, new top, and a 7 year 100K mile warrenty.

Tell me about it. I just found a WHITE 2003, honda ceritifed, with 16,353 miles on it for $23,888. Going to look at that one tomorrow if this other guy dont lower that $24,900 tag to atleast $21-$22,000. I'm having trouble looking for one because I only want WHITE/RED. The one with 16k miles is WHITE/BLACK, I'll settle for that though.

To bad I'm in Jersey bro. I finally realized after being on KBB and looking around that this S2K is priced crazy high. I think the salesman is trying to make HUGE amounts of commission.

 

s2ks are a little more expensive here in southern california...i paid $24k for my 02 with 20k miles from a dealer with an extended warrenty.

Dude screw negotiating down from 24.9, that price is ridiculous to begin with. It's not even worth negotatiating down to a "fair" price..

Gonna pick up a '02 Silver S2K with red interior and 70K miles for about $14,500. This a good deal. Clean title, all service records, original owner, and perfect interior/exterior.

 

I work in Tallahassee, FL, (north Florida) and we have about 5 for sale used at the moment. The value of them really depends on when and where the cars were purchased, we've got an 05 with 1286 miles on it (white/tan yummy), and we've got an 01 with 46k and a few inbetween...just remember, with the Certified cars you're going to pay more for it, but Honda is also backing that car for 7 years or 100,000 miles on the powertrain, and up to 48mo. or 48k miles of bumper to bumper coverage. If you don't plan on heavily modding your s2000 the Certified warranty is a sweet deal...if you're gonna turbo the yang out of it, buy a cheap used one, run it hard, rebuild it, smoke everything...=P
