Default uneven pad wear

My driver side front pads just wore out to the point where it started to eat up my rotors. I changed my front pads and I notice the the pads on the pass. side still looked new, while my driver's side are all the way worn. What causes this uneven wear? I replaced it with hawk pads, and I notice that I get a lot more brake dust on the driver side, which means that it's wearing out much faster.

i think they're warped. when ur rotors warp, you need to change out the pads AND the rotors.

bleed your brakes and make sure that fluid is flowing through the passenger side like it should.

What? That makes no sense.

I have a bad caliper on back that doesn't work very well. I dont smell burning all day but it is locking up. the seal is bad around the piston and hard to move. so it could be a bad caliper

It makes perfect sense if you possibly have a clogged line... I had a bad line in the rear... After several months pads and rotors looked like new. When I tried to bleed the brakes hardly any fluid came out of the line. I replaced the line and everything was fine after that...

Cause if you have that kind of imbalance on the front brakes you'll feel it. The car will try to turn under braking.

Not so much with the rears.
