Default almost done changing radiator. HELP AT THE END, bleeding/air pocket/fan problem

is there somethign wrong with my car? i just changed my radiator on my car to another oem type one because my old one was leaking fluid pretty badly. anyways, i've let it idle for over 20 min, within that time, i was filling up the radiator with the cap off as bubbles came up/level gets lower.

now, my problem is that my fan won't turn on. that whole time idling for 20 min, the fan didn't turn on once. the a/c is on the hot position, everything is off. i turned the a/c on while on the hot position once just to test that the fans were working, and yes they were. now where can i stop filling up my radiator because the fans won't turn on and the fluid is just boiling with the cap off.

what i do to bleed air out is CRACK the cap, don't have it off fully, or if you have an overflow tank leave the cap off of that, then make sure its topped off, rev it up to 2 or 3 grand, hold it for a few seconds then let off, that bleeds it off fast, should be done in a few minutes....

i thought you were supposed to let it idle, not rev it?
