Default Radiator problem

after installing a jrsc my car has been having some overheating issues

first off the fan won't com on and the car will overheat if I slide the heater to OFF and the put it all the way cold

the fan will only come on if I set the heater to OFF but slide it all the way HOT

I've replaced the rad as well and have a spoon rad cap but nothing works....
any ideas?

try to bleed the radiator. i had overheating problems too. open the radiator cap and start the car. turn the heat on high at max(4) then let the car idle.
