Default valve adjustment tool?...

do anybody know where i could purchase a valve adjustment tool for a b18c1(gsr)?....went to all the auto parts store and they dont have anything....im not talking bout the feeler gauge thingy....

on page 2 the matco i designed for honda and acura its 10mm where as the snap-on shown is 12mm

matco has 1 its like 53$

i believe its $12 + shipping...it look like a pretty decent tool to use...especially for that cheap...

Its cheaper(Seeing as you probably have them around the house already) to just use either a 10 or 12 mm wrench and a screwdriver.

just to let you guy know... vtec heads use the 10mm and nonvtec heads use the 12mm.

This is possible on a VTEC head, but it really elongates the procedure. For $12.99, I'll take the Alltrade tool and save about 30 minutes during a valve adjustment.

^^i really think you haven't done a valve adj. on a B18c. i really wouldn't understand how you can do with the valv adj. tool. if you did one before, you would know it's a 10mm.

for a non vtec b18b i dont think you need this tool, the jam nut is not recessed, but for a b18C1 it is probably a must because the jam nut is so far down in there.
