huh? more details? ive been using dupont spray on wheel cleaner (basically does nothing) and then turtle wax polish with a plastic bristle brush thing. the whole wheel lip used to be solid brown like that little ring on the inside.

you weren't kidding
maybe some simple green a brush but not a rough brush, just a toother brush and some time. If you do go with a regular wheel cleaner, becareful as it will eat away the finish on your rims in no time.
I also hear good stuff about: p21s http://www.carcareonline.com/d...10404
but i've had no personal experience

how about some powder soap or detergent like tide.
wet the wheel
shake on soap
wet the soap
let stand for about 5 mins
then get a good hard bristel(sp?) brush and 6 pack and go at it

we use a tooth brush and a degreaser or wheel cleaner similar to simple green when we run into situations like that at work.
I would say heavy duty wheel cleaner, let sit for like 2 minutes, than scrub with brush than rinse with pressurized hose. It might take awhile, especially with that blue dust. If you let that dust get wet, it will probably never come off. Hawk blue dust turns into a rock when it gets wet.
