When i start my car the check engine light comes on and the idle gets really low, when i push throttle it bogs down and almost dies..... this only happens sometimes and if i shut off the car and restart it goes away. wiring? I don't know, i need to get new water pump, spark plugs, dist. rotor, flush motor, etc... thanx..

Well, your patience is admirable, but in this case, you don't need to wait. If I understood you correctly, your CEL (check engine light) comes on and when you turn the car off and back on again, the CEL is gone. If thats the case, the ecu stores what CEL it threw. So check the ecu even though it is not throwing a CEL. And tell us how many times it blinks.

you didnt check the code yet. you need to check it. go to autozone or kragen to get your code pulled as we all know you have no knowledge of doing so.
