Default Any Interest in Rental Car (H1 ready EF) at Summit Point for HPDE and...?

Hey Guys,

I am gauging interest in building rentals for NASA and SCCA schools, and also for applying for licenses. Part of the reason im doing this is that there are LOADS of miata rentals at the scca events and there always seem to be the factory 5 guys there too at NASA and Scca events, but i thought it would be fun to rent some nicely prepared Hondas as well. We already have a lease on the new shops at Summit. And I have the car/s but they would need an investment of time and money. Before we take this financial dive, i would like to see what you guys are thinking, and if any of you could see your selfs renting for hpdes and etc... or just general comments

Thank you in advance.

Also, support would be included for the weekend, making sure you get to where you need to be and that the car is running correctly. It would be a pretty straight of the road b-series EF that wont be the fastest car and most bling filled car, but this is intern to keep costs down and give some one an experience to have a cool car at an hpde to not have to really "worry" about (generally speaking).

I wouldn't need to rent for HPDE, but I would be interested in renting for comp school/licensing and or maybe my first few races.

Curious what the fees would be and how damage would be handled?

It would be handled on agreed value, and that you the driver/patron would be responsible, if for example you got a little brave on late braking in to 1 (). But concidental mechincal failure would obviously not be the fault of the driver.

The fees would really be as inexpensive as possible. No where near the prices of the factory five guys, but probably a little more than the spec miata rentals. The price is still being evaluated, and if the customer would like new tires for that weekend, or using ones that already have a couple heat cycles on them.

I know I'd use it for a comp school and license as well. And if I didn't already have a track car, I'd feel quite a bit better using your car(s) for HPDEs in more advanced groups than having to worry about putting a full cage and such in my own car.
