has anyone put teg door panels in a 92-95 civic? i am looking for someone who has before i start chopping panels apart....i found a few hitns of peopel who had done it but nothing that has pics or any words on it...

 

why would you want to do this? And what year integra are you talking about?

 

i like the integra interior more than the civic. i already have the seats in there.
the car is a 93 civic sedan, the interior is from a 98 integra with the grey leather seats and grey/black door panels.

the seats look amazing in the car....and it looks like total cost for the seats, door panels and probably dash as well will run me about $150. they all came out of a 60k mile integra as well.

at this point it looks as if i will be cutting the edges of the door panels ot match the shape of the door shell and then restrecthing the cover of the panel to fit, and then using most of the teg hardware for the door pull and handle...


hat it comes down to for me is its a challenge, the car is already pretty nice and will be even nicer and more unique if i cna put it together right.

 

for the same reasons that poeople put type-r parts on tehir cars or put JDm crap on their car.

next time read the thread before replying with a quote that was already answered.

i fell sorry for you then. i personally like a more supportive seat from a car that is newer, rather than 12 year old worn out econobox seats.

usdm gsr swap w/5 spd conversion
used to be my wifes car but she hasnt driven it in nearly 2 years since she got a 99 prelude, i drove it for 6 months and then we garaged it. i decided it was time to fix it up repalce worn parts, maybe make it look a bit better, and drive it occasionaly, and maybe even se about showing it at some local shows....and maybe even sell it givn the right offer.








as you can see the stock door panels are nothing special while the new ones to me look a lot nicer. plus this is theo nly car i ahve really psent any time at all on teh cosmetics.
