GSR header problem

Default GSR header problem

i got my engine in but the headers dont fit pass the chassis and i was thinking of using my old exhaust pipe from my crx and bolt that to the downpipe but it didnt work. should i get a new exhaust pipe and what would fit?

It looks like you need to notch the crossmember. Or at least cut/bang away the lip in the vicinity of the header.

my friend had the same problem. no you dont have to use your crx header. all you have to do is cut a notch out of the crossmember so the header will get past it or do like i did go buy a set of 4-2-1 headman headers for a gsr. they hug the block so tight that you dont have to cut anything
