similar to other non starting problems but, my 90 gs won't start when it sits in the hot sun. i work 5am to 130pm and in the morn it starts fine but when i leave work after it sits in the sun for 8hrs, all it does is turn over .. the MFR clicks everytime but wont start. i have to push it to some kind of shade and wait 30 mins to 1hr.then it starts up right away.. i already changed the igniter with my working one from my jdm b16 dizzy but same prob. WTF???? please help.

 

you said your main relay clicks when you try to start , try changing it and see if thst helps

 

i was wrong.. it didnt click. then after a few tries the cel stayed on. so i pulled the ecu fuse , put it back then it clicked and started. but then a few more starts and turning it off , it stopped clicking and starting. do you happen to know the part nbr for the relay cuz when i called the parts stores the said they didnt have a listing for it. thanks for ur help

I believe its #18 39400-SH3-003 RELAY (RZ-0063)

 

Thats which one i thought it was too. il pick one up tmw and try it . i have a strong feeling thats the prob. ill let how it goes. thanks alot .

if you know how to solder, it's a lot cheaper to take the cover off, and resolder all the connections. it fixed mine right up.
