i scuffed up my back bumper
I backed up into a wall two days in a row. i know, i know, i'm a dumb ***. i need more fucken sleep.
any ways i have a scrap mark the size of my fist on my back bumper. i tried to buff it out but it didn't do anything. the paint is still intact, with only a few deep scraps the size of my finger nail.
Q
I have some touch up paint. i was wondering if i could paint over the scuffs and then buff it out?
what do yall think?
do you think it would make it look worst.
BTW it isn't that bad but i can notice the scuff when i look 2-3 feet away from my car.
Random Q
do you know of any good wax?
is zymol good?

You can try using a claybar to get the scrape off. I can't guarantee it will work but it's worth a try. As for the deep scrapes, they probably aren't going to come out if they are indented in the bumper.
Had a guy bump me at about 25mph last month in traffic and it put a few minor scratches in the paint and a small dimple in the rear bumper cover.
I ended up taking it to a Honda dealer body shop here in town and they replaced the bumper cover and repainted it to match...did a spectacular job. Altogether it came out to $450. His insurance paid for it.
Not that this really helps, but at least you'd have an idea of what it might cost to have it done right.

Talking about costs, back in '99 my '99 Accord was scuffed up in a parking lot, the lady paid for repainting it.
Quotes for painting it ranged from $100 at the Honda dealer bodyshop to $200 at a reputable bodyshop in town. She wanted to go to the reputable bodyshop, I think she knows them personally, so I went there and they did a great job. Paint looks just like the rest of the car, even after five years.
