1992 GS Integra won't start
I am having a problem starting my car. About once a month the car would not start, but recently it is happening once a week.
The car will crank/turnover but it won't turn on. If I wait 30 minutes to 1 hour it will start quickly (1st turn of the key). I have been reading up on Ignition coil, main fuel relay, etc. I'm going to try the MFR this weekend. But if it doesn't work where do I go now?
Also where can I get a skematic of my car? How to pull the Ignition coil, where it is etc.
Thanks!

um the starter should be fine....id say pick up a manual for your car, when you put the key into the second position....and the cel (check engine light) comes on, when it goes off does it make a click?...if not i sway more towards the main relay

wouldn't doubt if it was the main relay....as it gets hotter out the problem gets worse. try keeping your windows cracked a bit if possible when it's sitting in sun. Or even better, park in the shade.
Sounds like it is the infamous common main relay problem. The relay is located right underneath your steering column, in the brown box. A new Honda relay is about 60 bucks, and will solve the problem. I changed mine in June, and haven't had a problem since.

The ignition coil is located in the distributor. If you want to check to see if its the coil, then take an old spark plug and stick it in the end of one of your plug wires, then ground the plug on your valve cover and turn the car over. If the spark plug makes a spark then the coil is fine, if not then its probably a bad coil.
