Are there any special tools or tricks when installing an auto tranny?

I've done manual tranny installs before and I know you need the clutch alignment tool but I've never done an auto. I know that there is a torque converter but that's kinda where my knowledge of auto's stops. Anyone know of any write ups?

The car I'm working on isn't a Honda. It's my girlfriend’s brothers 99 Toyota Corolla. He drove from Oklahoma to Chicago with no oil in the car. How you ask? He took it for and oil change and they never put any back in. Now it needs a new motor.

My first thought was to junk the car but he still owes on it, so it looks like I gotta get it running again.


Well if anyone can give me any insight on installing this auto tranny I would be very grateful.
