my speedometer doesn't work and i don't know what it could be. My rpm gauge and gas meter works but my mph gauge doesn't move at all. I took off the gauge console to see if anything was unplugged but everything was in tact. And another thing is that my oil light comes on before i start the car (key in the on position) but my battery light doesn't. What could it be?

ok i checked that and its still plugged in.

the actual plug that goes onto the vehicle speed sensor check the pins. they have the tendency to get loose and not stay fastened on the plug.
