Car shuts off while driving
I got a tune up and replaced distributor
still not fixed

Radio is still on, but the engine just dies and I have to coast over to the side
Radio stays on the whole time
I can start the car as soon as I get to the sid eof the roas again

any ideas

 

mine used to do that. i found out there was a recall for 6th gen accord igintion. take it to the dealer and let them check out.

Yep the actual ignition was faulty.

Next time it happens try wiggling the key, but I would talk to your dealer ASAP to see if your car qualifies for the recall. If not check your battery terminals, alternator connections and fuses.

 

Got the ignition key recall done
car is still shutting off while I am driving
