i have a 99 honda accord lx v6 3.0 vtec.. when im driving at like 15 mph all of a sudden my car shuts off or if i push the gas hard my car shuts off.. and if its idling for more then 10 mins it will shut off too.. and when i start it sometimes it wont start.. what can i do to fix it?

Now..I'm going to guess fuel pressure regulator.

 

whats the fuel pressure regulator?

 

Do you get a check engine light?

I'll assume you do, take it to an autozone etc. and have them grab the codes for you..if you can make it there.

Did it go from good to bad quickly or has it been acting strange lately?

 

yah i do have the check engine light on but it just came on like a couple days ago and its been acting strange for a while now.. see it was my bros car and he didnt really give a crap about it and im trying to fix it and i cant figure it out.. i just changed to spark plugs is it bad to just have changed 3?

Did this problem start after you changed the plugs?

 

oh no i changed the plugs because of the problem and after i changed them the problem still happened.. do u think it might be the 3 old spark plugs causing the problem?

 

there is a recall on ignition switch did u have that done?? if not call dealer and inquire
