Goodness Gracious... My car is slow (had to get smogged... in cali)
My 4-1 JDM header, Ex-mag, high flow cat and chipped ECU are just paperweights right now.
Spent all day putting the complete stock exhaust back on... header, cat, piping, muffler. Had to solder back in the secondary O2 sensor and put in the stock P72 ecu. Also had to lower my fuel pressure back down to around 39psi.
All I wanted to say is FAWK it makes so much of a difference. It feels so bottled up and slow now, and not just because its quiet. Im also always hittin the limiter cuz ive been so used to pushin it to 8500 for the last couple years. And now the damn vtec is back at 4400 rpms and my R cams bog a lil until 5k.
BUT! I passed CA smog with flying colors... the guy said my car makes less emmisions than he has seen in a while... even for a honda.
Not going through all the trouble til I get my head rebuilt in a few months... give the car a "lil bit" of a rest for a while.

Well I swapped exhaust bacause I didnt want some clown givin me gruff at the smog station. Even though it would be fine you know what they think when a lowered honda rolls in... "lets screw this dude over" or whatever they can. I also wasnt sure how well I would pass, so I wanted it as bottled up as possible for the sniffer.
Also, using type R cams helps you pass because they never come close to vtec while they test your ride and the primary lobes are smaller than on the GSR cams. Not that it wouldnt have passed anyways but whatever...
