Well, i just bought some sidemarkers and was wondering the electrical part of the install. I havea 1998 4 cylinder accord, and i know about the templates, the installation of getting the sidemarkers on the car but i don't know the electrical part (as in, hooking it up). Is there a step by step detailed guide for a 6 gen. Here are some pictures of the sidemarkers:


Also what is grounding, and tapping a wire lol, i'm a newbie with electrical stuff, i rather look stoopid by asking this question and learning from it . thanks for anyhelp

 

you gonna need a dremel to cut a slot of the sidemarker.

put masking tape over the clean surface which you want to cut out(um..measure twice, cut once) , and use the dremel cutting disk to do the rest.
remember you can always enlarge a hole but if you cut too wide, lol you=fwaked.

as for the electrical part, let us know what type of blub are you using(single filament/dual filament? how you want it to flash? turn on with headlight? etc)

Thanks for the tip and i want it to flash when the turn signals are engaged and turn on when the parking lights are on as well. And all i know is the bulb is 12v 5w lol. The bulb actually looks like this http://images.search.yahoo.com...UTF-8

i dont believe a single bulb can do that without running some sort of relay

 

Actually it depends on the OEM circuit. I've forgotten how the 6th Gens are but with my 5th Gen I have it connected to the portion of the corner light that blinks...and while the parking light's on it's constantly on until I use the turn signal...which then it blinks on and off.
