Default Rear Torsion Mount Hole STRIPPED after Clutch install!!!

So just when I thought I would get no trouble doing a clutch/flywheel install, I started hurrying near the end (and sun going down), now I caused a greater problem. (Damn air-tools).

I stripped the top of the two 19mm bolt holes on the engine side of the rear torsion mount. The tranny side 19 is perfectly fine. I was searching and heard of Helicoil and I have no idea what that is and if it's big enough for a 19mm. I was told to get a tap and die set, but I don't know if drilling it out to 21mm is good idea?

Any suggestions on fixing this problem? I was thinking of taking the whole rear torsion mount out and seeing if I can get the 19mm bolt to go inside if only one thread is stripped? I don't know. I even heard it's okay as long as one of those 2 are tightened real well, but I don't want to risk that.

Thanks,
Eddie.

I got a guy that could fix that for you. Depending on how bad it is it wont take long. His in Gardena. Let me know if you want his info.

Well I don't think it's that bad, and for 1 bolt, I don't think taking it to a guy is worth. Also, I wouldn't know how to. Thank you though, I will keep it in mind just in case this problem escalates.

Anyone else have any other info or suggestions on tap-and-die or helicoil things? Hopefully taking off the mount while reveal a problem that isn't that bad.

Eddie.

Yeah I got that whole bracket in and the car is completely done. Only thing is I lost a 10mm bolt that attaches the flywheel cover to the tranny. Is this even needed? I hear of many people who don't even have a flywheel cover. We'll see what happens.
