270 HP and 240 TQ
My friend and I are thinking about doing this swap on his 97 EK.
Can it be done? There's no mount and axle for it yet, as well as harness and ecu?
any help is appreciate it.

if you are smart and creative enough and can use the fabricating tools needed as well as have the money and tme im sure you can do it.

V6 in an EK engine bay? Good luck with that

 

youd have to do alot of homework. since i think there is more electronics on that car, such as TB i think is drive by wire, need to find one that is cable driven that fits or fab one to fit, everything like everyone else said would have to be custom. engine mangement i think would be the biggest thing since i dont think anyone has anything out for them. would be a nice straight line car.

 

also just checking car-part.com it would not be a cheap swap roughly 3k for the motor which i doubt includes trans which is another 1000-1500 for the 6speed, then all then nice fab work you would have to do. if you have the money go for it and let everyone know how it goes.

 

Hell Yeah...when your done you could go race that RWD legend powered civic.

eveyone know that it's difficult project to do and we are already aware of that, that's why i come here for help. If you are dump and useless, knowing nothing but laugh, feel free to do so.

 

if you need to ask for help on something like this its probably beyond you. its a serious understaking to make something like this happen....

 

You asked in your title if it could be done without difficulty. That is a joke.

 

try to get some info from the Signal EK with the NSX setup. That car was pretty interesting.

 

this swap is very difficult and prepare to spend a lot of money. having said that go for it bec youll have a unique car w/all the bragging rights.
