Default Tranny Problem, Input Shaft gets hard to spin sometimes

Need help. Just put back together a 4.785 tranny with Cusco LSD. Now without the housing on, the input shaft spins freely and easily. Once I put on the housing, input shafts spins freely, but then will get hard to spin.

It seems that when the Ring Brake Stopper #9 on the diagram is held in place the input shaft spins freely for a bit then gets hard to spin.

What is the problem? Do I need to change the #10 tapper cone and #17 bearing?

I would put only the diff in case halves (no sealant) and tighten up a lil like 10lbs and see how freely the diff spins.

I always do this when installing a diff that was not original to the tranny.

Hopes this helps you out.
