z6 swap dizzy question
i'm using my obd 0 dizzy on the z6 head. how am i supposed to line this thing up? is the "top" hole still supposed to line up with the top hole on the z6? it seems like i would have to rotate the whole dizzy 90 degrees clockwise to get it close. TIA guys!!
I'll take a look at my d16z6 in my ef and check (I'm OBD1), so I can tell you how mine is possitioned. You'll need to get your dizzy cap to line up the same way a stock z6 does.
You have to open the hole on the top leg completely. If you don't, it wont line up even close. I had mine like this for a few days. Only had one bolt on the dizzy. Needed the car to get to work. Best thing to do is go obd1. All three bolts and it runs the way it was meant to be.
obd 1 isn't an option at this point... i need the car by next wednesday to drive to virginia (550 miles) for college so it isn't gunna happen in that time frame. i will be going OBD 1 at a later point. i need a picture of someone's dizzy who stayed OBD 0 and made it work.
