HOW DO I RETIME MY LS VTEC

scence i got the ls block and gsr head how do i know when the timming is perfect? do i need a gsr pully and the timming belt cover? or is the ls pully and timming cover the same as the gsr?

the timing belt depends on water pump

ls pump= ls belt
gsr pump= gsr belt
