Default Loss of heatshield - F23

Hey guys, I took off my heatshield for my header a few months back and I'm starting to partially regret it. Is there any danger for damage of any engine bay components?

I never had any problems, its not any hotter than running a stainless header with no shield.

Why regret, other than it looks like crap when the shield isn't there..just put it back on

i would just paint your headers to keep them cooler and better looking as well..

i took mine off last year but when my tranny died. the guy who rebuilt my tranny put it back to stock. he was saying this and that about it and blaw blaw... i dont see why it should hurt the car tho.
