koni yellow w/ after market lowering springs vs tein basic coilovers
which is better for all around uses i couldnt care much about the looks performance is what im askin
How bout Koni yellows with aftermarket coilovers
Koni Yellows + GC all the way (cant be to much more expensive than your springs...)

They aren't crap - they just weren't made to be serious performance units in the first place, if Tein can make cheap units that appeal to the masses (who just want bling and par performance) and make money, the more power to them. Remember, they're just satisfying the consumers, so in other words most consumers want crap.

i dont know what your goal is, but the basics comes with springs that are too soft for any real performance. you will be on bumpstops in corners.
get some eibachs with a decent spring rate and then some konis or whatever
the tein basics really are bling
the upper model tein stuff is good, but the flex is the absolute bare minimum for my tastes

You really cant go wrong with the Koni Yellow's and Eibach springs (either pros or sports) The Koni's have set rings that allow you to choose the drop and it's just a great all around setup for the money.
i have gc/koni yellows/gc top hat upper mounts and im pretty low with a lot of shock travel... its very nice to have the upper mounts for more shock play i ride pretty close to stock while also having really good handles... for the money id say this is the best bet
i got my suspension done... it rides AMAZING with the teins hte drop is favorable... i wasnt lookin 2 go any lower or higher and the ride is so much better then it ever was

Sick dude that sucks for you, you made a pole and it was 20 to 3 and you still went with tein. What was the point of the poll?

I am debating between KYB GR-2 and Koni Yellows sitting with my Tein S-techs</TD></TR></TABLE>
dude..
KYB GR2 and Koni Yellow shocks is a no brainer.
GR2 = OEM replacement shock
Sport (Yellow) = Performance shock

I really liked my Koni/Pro-kit setup. The Pro-kits are a nice spring, not much stiffer feeling than stock, but handle much better. I'm only selling the springs because I got GCs

Hey man, Where and how much did you pay for your Konis? I'm running Stechs and one of my stock shock are busted so I was thinking of Koni yellows as replacements.
Thanks!!!
