oil in spark plug chamber and plug wires...
i just bought this 93 accord ex and i did the spark plugs today, NGKs from the dealer, and there was tons of oil as i pulled out the plug wires, even the spark plug was drenched in oil. my valve seals bad? or my valve cover gasket? anyone know?
check your spark plug "o" rings. they are the part of the valve cover gasket that go over your tubes that your spark plugs are in.
sure? no. i dont have the car in front of me. being that you just bought it, and depending on the vehicle's history (if known), I would do a cap, rotor, plug, and wire change, also, a valve adjustment and replace the valve cover gasket (and "o" rings).
to change the gasket set, take the valve cover off, pull off the old seals, and put the new ones on, and bolt the cover back on. its real easy.
