to get the air condition to work? i.e. what a/c bracket, and compressor and what ever else I need. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

 

You have a few options.

You can retain the D compressor, if you have one, and bolt the compressor using 2 bolts, since the bolt pattern is offset using the D16y8 compressor. It sounds risky, but thats what i have done at the moment and it's been great for the past 9 months. It also retains your freon using this method. I have a B16 compressor for backup and I'll probably swap for that one when i run out of freon with this setup.

You can also get a b16 del sol ac bracket or one from a crv. The crv will probably be cheaper.

Last is get the compressor from that engine and the ac lines to make it like orignal.

D series compressor and bracket using 2 bolts on the bracket

or

Del Sol brackets along with the B compressor and A/C lines from Si or De sol?

Actually, its a d-series compessor on a b16 block, mounted with only 2 bolts. The other 2 will not match up. I can try to take a picture when I get the chance.
