Alright guys,

I finished my build on my h22 3 days ago, It included Wiseco forged pistons 8.5:1 pistons, bored to 88mm, Sleeved, Kaizen Speed Balance Shaft Delete Kit, Crower Rods, And Crank. Ive put over 100 miles and the car but havnt reved it over 4 grand trying to break it in nice and easy, ive got the boost cut down to 8 pounds and am just overall babying it, I had to adjust the idle because it was way to low after it warms up, So last night it was idling at around 1g perfectly fine and was running like a top, i needed to see if vtech and all that good stuff still worked so i ran it up to 5 grand nice and easy, everything was flawless untill it idled down, it would idle down to 2000 only, and then would drop up and down really fast like the tps was bad or something, it did it the whole way home at all the stoplights so i dont really kno what to think, anybody have any ideas what this could be???

Check for vaccuum leaks, FIV, IACV.

 

If your boosting make sure that all your vacuum lines are new and that they are all zip ties on.

 

i dont really like to break in motors with boost. and babying the motor like that isnt breaking it in IMO. i like the motoman break in method myself.
