Default Is my timing off?

I have the crank at top dead center, and this is what the cam gear is showing. If this is off, please tell me where to line up the cam.

Deff off from what I see. Since its a d15 it needs to be flat. It it were a d16a you need to line it up using the bottem left pointer and the other mark.

Its kinda in between both. Someone fucked up before.

in the picture the two lines should line up with the top of the head, ( with the valve cover off ) if not that you are off. and most importantly make SURE its at TDC!

Are you sure you lined it up right on the crank? Remember on the crank you'll see

It should be lined up with the Middle Slash.

TDC is the single mark by itself off to the right of the 3 ignition timing marks

jlicrx is right. the middle line of the three marks should be red. the single one, off to the right, should be white. it might be hard to see if its dirty.
