Default throttle position sensor

my car has been running rough for about 2 months cant figure out what it is.so yesterday i was looking around in the engine for loose wires or somthing and i saw this little peice on the throttle body. and the screws was hanging out so i go into my car to get a screw driver and i look in this little capartment and there is another just like it so i think it has been replaced i look at my ecu and its throwin 7 so i figured this is the tps. i tightin the screws and runs the same does this have to be set with a tool or somthing or does it just pop on? would this make my car run like it is. i have to set the idle all the way to 2000 so it dosent die please help!
