When I accelerate hard then left off gas to shift I hear popin noise comin from my exhaust what is this??? Am I runnin too rich? My mods are I/H/E aftermarket plug wires. Am I okay or I need to get it fix fast?? Or its really nothing any help would do. Also do I need sum sort of fuel adjustment like a fuel controller or a adj fpr yet? Thanks for the help.

i dont think it is anything, just the release of excess gas leaving your exhaust, happens to me too, only wit the tanabe exhaust, the last 1 i had didnt do that.

 

dont worry about it if its a few pops when you let off no bg deal, you should only worry if it pops loud from the time you let of till idle then i would worry your ok

 

i eblieve that is backpressure
if u are at high revs aand the exhaust is expelling max gas when u step off the gas u close tp not allowing max air in thereby slowing exhaust air speed
its like a pop in anything its suction in a sense...
